Monica's therapist was here today. She was going to cast her leg for her brace that she will be getting soon, but the kit she brought was too big. Oh well, we will get it next week. She did bring an insert for her shoe and I think it is going to do great. Isn't she just the sweetest thing?

She IS the sweetest thing!! How cute! So, why will she wear a brace? I have a nephew who has to wear a brace. He was born without calf muscles in one of his legs. That leg is also about 1/4 inch shorter than the other. He's not any worse for the wear, though. Gets around just like any other child his age, only has a slight limp. He has to get his brace changed often as boys his age grow very fast.
