Thanksgiving Break
I just finished the ironing. UGH! I really don't mind ironing, just the time it takes to do it. Mark is taking the five younger kids to Texas with his mom from Wednesday thru Saturday for Thanksgiving. I will be home here with Anna and Mark. I am trying to start a Catholic lending library at our church, and so will be able to do so while the little ones are gone. Nothing major, just anyone who wants to bring their books for others to borrow. Father has lots of books, and I have a decent amount, so I think we will be off to a good start. I really look forward to spending some of the days going through books.
As I am trying to type this, the cat will not leave me alone. Now, I am not a big fan of cats in general, but the two we have are really great (although annoying at times like now).

So, why are you not going for Thanksgiving with your family? Are the children staying at home with you unable to travel? Have a great time going through your books. I have a few that I need to get rid of (I used to have a Catholic bookstore.) Maybe you'd like them to go with your library? I'll get the titles ready and then you can decide if you'd like them to donate to the collection.
I just really did not feel like traveling and this is about as close to a retreat as I will get. My mother-in-law went and that was all the van could hold and taking two vehicles just didn't sound like fun. You had a Catholic bookstore? That is my dream! For right now this library is as close as I can get. Sure, I would be interested in more books, I am hoping that it will get people who would not buy a Catholic book to borrow one and get some spiritual benefit.
